  2. Empower families to make changes needed to reunite with their children.
  3. Quality care services.
  4. Advocate for the well-being of residents/clients.
  5. Honest with all.
  6. Integrity concerning resident and family confidentiality.
  7. Ethical in all interactions.

The East Palo Alto Teen Home, Inc. was established in 1992 to meet the needs of teen women and teen mothers with children who are in the county and state foster care system. When we opened our doors, we were the first of our kind to operate in East Palo Alto. Part of our core services includes emotional and psychological counseling, along with daily monitoring, regular exercise, and nutrition. Every effort is made to successfully address the individual needs of each teen resident and child who live in our home. While our staff recognizes that they cannot take the place of a supportive family, we try to create a family atmosphere that is based on mutual trust and respect.

At the East Palo Alto Teen Home, the teen residents pursue mandatory educational goals and work towards receiving a high school education. They are also encouraged to further their education by either attending a technical training school or college. Our teen residents are involved in community service projects and social enrichment activities that help them to build strong work ethics and connections to the East Palo Alto community.
